Boss – RV-2 Digital Reverb – 1987 Made In JapanHow does it sound you say? Bl**dy Awesome!!! I’ve owned a lot of reverbs over the years both in amps and pedals. The new digital pedals just sound far too hi-fi. They might work with clean sounds okay but not with gain sounds.I have a Bogner Shiva that has a Reverb tank better than any Fender amp I’ve tried. But you know what? I still prefer the Boss RV-2.I’ve tried all the RV series, The RV-2 Has a warmer vintage vibe that doesn’t mess with the gain. It also sits better in the mix without overcrowding the tone.
