These are direct replacement tuners for pre-CBS Fender basses and reissues. They have the identical footprint and reverse gearing. However, unlike the originals, they have a flat diecast baseplate that sits flush on the headstock without any relief underneath. They are have an adjustable torque screw to set resistance to turning. The sets come complete with bushings and mounting screws.
